Terms of Use
KeepUp turns your workouts into points, streaks, and friendly competition with clubs of friends. It only works if everyone plays fair and treats each other well. These terms explain the rules for using the KeepUp apps for Android and iPhone and the KeepUp web dashboard. KeepUp is developed by Cesar Younes.
By creating an account or using KeepUp, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use KeepUp.
Points and leaderboards only mean something if they're real. So:
KeepUp may reject workouts, remove points or steps, reset streaks, or take action on an account when something doesn't look genuine.
In club chat, your profile, and anywhere else on KeepUp, don't post or send:
You can report any message or club member from inside the app, and block anyone you don't want to hear from. Blocking hides their messages from you and stops their nudges and challenges — they aren't told.
KeepUp reviews reports within 24 hours. When content breaks these rules, we remove it, and we remove the user responsible from the club or ban them from KeepUp. A message that several members report may be hidden automatically while we review it.
You own the messages, photos, and other content you post. You give KeepUp permission to store and display that content to the people you share it with (for example, your clubs) so the app can work. You're responsible for what you post.
KeepUp is a motivation and tracking tool, not medical advice. Points, effort scores, and suggestions aren't a substitute for guidance from a professional. Check with a doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have a health condition, and stop exercising if you feel pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath. You exercise at your own risk.
You can stop using KeepUp and delete your account at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
We may suspend or terminate an account, remove content, or remove a member from a club if these terms are broken, if required by law, or to protect other users or KeepUp.
We work hard to keep KeepUp running smoothly, but it's provided "as is". Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. To the extent allowed by law, KeepUp isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
We may update these terms as KeepUp grows. When we do, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use KeepUp after a change means you accept the updated terms.
